Dr. Robert White II and his team of lawyers, researchers, and foot soldiers have spent the last decade on a mission to uncover the untold histories and events that took place along the Highway. Our goal is to inspire and educate visitors by sharing these stories through a variety of mediums, including tours, books, and online content. MANHOOD PROJECT
MANHOOD PROJECT
The MANHOOD project aims to address the disproportionate incarceration rates of Black males by conducting workshops focused on instilling positive traits of manhood identity. These workshops leverage the wisdom of God in practical ways to empower participants to become upright and contributing members of society.

By challenging stereotypes of manhood perpetuated by white America, the project seeks to combat systemic issues that contribute to the overrepresentation of Black males in the prison system. Partnering with organizations such as City of Refuge Ministries, MADD STUDIOS MANHOOD REVEALED, Montgomery schools, and local Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the Black Belt region enhances the project's reach and effectiveness.

Additionally, the project has developed various tools such as writing books and introducing a new MANHOOD TEST to further its mission. These innovative approaches distinguish the MANHOOD project from other rites of passage programs nationally, emphasizing a holistic approach that combines practical skills, spiritual guidance, and community support to empower Black males and promote positive change in society.

As a Civil Rights activist, I believe that hearing history straight from the source is crucial to understanding its significance. Our platform is dedicated to providing a space where Civil Rights leaders can share their perspective on the events that took place on the Highway 80 Corridor. We also advocate for prison reform, as we believe in the importance of effective and equitable criminal justice practices.
